Meet the Co-Founders of the Campaign
Alan Clements — a former Buddhist monk, author, war reporter, and theatrical monologist — is the co-founder of The World Dharma Online Institute, The Burma Project USA/Canada, and World Dharma — a nonsectarian community of seekers, artists, writers, performers, activists, and other “everyday rebels” exploring the nature of consciousness, the preciousness of freedom, and the mysterious wonder of the cosmos.
Ian MacKenzie—writer, short film director and producer — is the Campaign's graphic designer & webmaster. Ian has a passion for human rights, spirituality, and the environment. He has been published in university newspapers, online magazines, political blogs, academic journals, and fiction digests. When not working, he is adventuring to remote places around the world.
