What Is The Interest Index?
October 7th, 2006
On each entry in the Living Freedom Archive, you’ll see an “Interest Index %” that reflects the community activity of that entry. This percentage is based on a number of criteria, including:
- number of visits to that post
- number of comments others have made
- number of links to that post from outside sources (for example, if someone linked to that post from their own website or blog) and other factors.
Basically, the more activity a post gets, the higher its “interest” rank. This is in no way a judgement on the quality of writing, or based on the popularity of the author. We welcome submissions from everyone from all walks of life.
