What Is This Archive?

A Short Orientation

What Is The Living Freedom Archive?

The Living Freedom Archive is an evolving collection of poems, stories, rants and reflections contributed by everyday citizens of the world. We’re asking “what freedom means to you, and how the term can be liberated from fear, indoctrination and war?” These entries published online for you to share, comment, discuss, and hopefully, inspire you into action. Learn how to contribute your own voice

The Archive is the end result of The Campaign to Liberate Freedom, the half of the website dedicated to raising awareness about freedom worldwide. Essentially, both aspects of this campaign focus on a worldwide wake up call to all of humanity, a call to STOP killing in the name of freedom. The Campaign is intended to appeal to our hearts, the inherent wisdom in every man, woman, and child that yearns for peace and security. The freedom from fear and want is the very bedrock of civilization and co-existence. For this reason we are calling for a re-imagining of what freedom really means.

Who Are The Individuals Behind This Archive?

The Campaign to Liberate Freedom and The Living Freedom Archive were launched on Sept 11, 2006 by Alan Clements and Ian MacKenzie. (To learn more about them, please visit their biographies here). The project is the first major initiative of World Dharma.
