Freedom is Identical to Love

For me, freedom is uncovered from within. It is a state of being, beyond any condition or circumstance.
It is trusting what I sense, when I listen to the Silence, this Energy that comes through me. Each manifested impulse to accept, to honor, to appreciate, and to love, frees me and those around me, in that moment, from imprisonments I have created through defensiveness, taking things personally, and judging others.
Mary Caroline Richards said it well in her invitation to “retaliate with love.” Herein the ultimate retaliation is to get behind whatever seems to stand between me and another, to stand up to my own confining limitations, face them, understand their source, release them, and move into love, which is identical with freedom.
